WHAT WE DO
Four scopes, one framework.

We value solutions rather than costing problems. We start from your financial reality, overlay the natural capital that actually binds the system, then prove the value of the projects that can deliver a double bottom line. Nine times out of ten we are not inventing new solutions; we bridge finance and natural capital to justify the ones you already have.

WHERE WE WORK
From a single unit operation to a portfolio of mining operations.
Scope 01
Single system or subsystem

One unit or process, valued end to end. Dust control, a thickener, a flotation circuit. We can also take on a whole tailings subsystem, thickener to TSF, or a pit-to-crusher optimization.

Scope 02
The full mine site

Natural capital across every silo on the site, and where we can add the most value. The best moves often cross boundaries: many tailings solutions actually start at the hydro-cyclone on the mill.

Scope 03
Corporate

Natural capital across the whole company. We start with what you produce, then map the gated capital that goes into each product, which points to the sites worth focusing on and the subsystems worth optimizing.

Scope 04
Governments, regions & stakeholders

Natural capital is a global issue. We advise governments, industry bodies and other stakeholders on how to see what they hold and maximize the value created per unit depleted. This tends to be bespoke work.

HOW WE WORK
A workshop to find the value, then value cases to prove it.
01
THE WORKSHOP
Two to five days on site.

We map what natural capital is scarce, what projects are on the table, and the constraints that bind, including your access to capital and your opex headroom. About four weeks after the visit you have a clear, ranked picture of where the value is and a short list of projects. You pick the one to five you want us to model.

02
THE VALUE CASES
First report in about eight weeks.

Four weeks from your selection to the first report, roughly eight weeks in from the site visit, and twelve weeks to the final report. We turn your chosen projects into quantified, optimized value cases with the drivers, outputs, and value inputs you can act on. The value case is where the value gets proven, so it is where every engagement goes.

HOW WE PRICE

We are cheaper than most management consultants, and we will have results while they are still defining the problem. We price to the value of the case: think less than 1% of the value at stake, with a hard cap at 30% of management-consultant rates. That keeps us affordable for everyone from juniors to majors. The real limit is capacity, not cost: we can take on about five to seven projects a year right now.

PROOF
The proof is the sample.

We do not put proof on a slide, we hand it to you. The free sample is the Tusk thickener control system value assessment, and the value inside it is the proof. From a single two-point density gain, 60% to 62% solids, on a control system that costs under $2 million to commission, one report surfaces value across water, tailings, throughput, and dam risk. Every figure here is from that report; where the evidence gives a direction but not a precise number, as with dam-failure risk, we say so.

$27.4M

Water savings, present value over the life of the mine. About 0.02 m³ per tonne less fresh water drawn, worth $6.3M a year.

$26.3M

Tailings savings, present value. Underflow 5% denser, so the storage facility fills more slowly. Around $6M a year.

$429M

Debottlenecking option value. Cutting fresh-water draw by 8.1% unlocks roughly 3.6 million more tonnes of ore a year.

Real

Dam-failure risk falls with density by geotechnical physics. The site-specific magnitude needs a qualified engineer, so we state the direction, not a number.

Through our work with Tusk, we can build a single value model for a tailings or concentrate thickener at no cost. It is the easiest way to see the method before you commit to anything.
